Upper cervical chiropractic care is a modality which successfully treats many different types of conditions. Some injuries are caused by trauma to the body, such as auto accidents, sporting mishaps, or surgery. These misalignments create the postural and nervous system stresses that are treated at Intelligent Balance Spinal Care.

Other sources of pain can include a chronic health conditions, such as Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia, TMJD, and Planter Fasciitis.
At Intelligent Balance Spinal Care, we are able to ameliorate the symptoms of chronic health conditions, and successfully treat acute injuries.

Treatment for Infants and Children:

Upper Cervical Care is effective in adults and children. Infants can have a misalignment from the birthing process, which can cause colic / digestive upset and ear infections. Toddlers can bang themselves up when learning how to walk and need some help returning to center. Treatment of children is gentle, noninvasive, and often successful after 1 or 2 sessions.

QSM3 care and Intelligent Balance Spinal care are not the answer for all patients; however, unresolved musculoskeletal pain and discomfort that does not completely respond to rest, medication and/or therapy may indicate candidacy for care using QSM3 spinal corrections.

Patient Highlight:

Jay had surgery in 2009 to correct Foot Drop, a condition of a pinched nerve in his hips that was so severe, surgeons had to fuse his L4 and L5 vertebrae. Jay cannot seek traditional chiropractic care, because it would be too disruptive to his spine, and perhaps cause more damage. Jay can, however, receive Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care, because it is a gentle treatment which will not manipulate his spine. Doctors will assess his gait and posture, and plan treatment goals to reduce pain and ease mobility.
